Since July 2014, the Johannstadt Community Center sponsors an open meeting place for the neighborhood. The Johannstadt Housing Association furnishes three well-equipped rooms, known as the Bundschuh Club, where denizens of the Johannstadt can gather for an amicable bit of shared company.
Our contribution to Johannstadt:

- Every Tuesday 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.: English for advanced beginners (A2-B2, for seniors)
- Every Wednesday 3-5:30 p.m.: Open neighborhood meeting and games
- Every Thursday 4-5:30 p.m.: Chess for children under 14 years, get to the board
- Every 2nd Monday of the month 2-4 p.m.: literature circle, book reviews (for seniors)
- Every 3rd Monday of the month 10-12 a.m.: Philosopher Café, lecture and discussion (for seniors)
